One of the reasons it's worth sticking around in the desert during the summer. This massive thunderhead welled up to the north east of Salton City, across the Salton Sea, late in the afternoon. As a result, the sunset illuminated it in brilliant colors. It's one of those clouds you will spend decades finding new shapes or faces or things in its folds.
