Studio Easy Hearts - Murals

These are some of the murals that I have done. Please feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities if you are considering a mural. I am able to work on a variety of surfaces - wood, stucco, concrete, metal. For work outside southern California, the best option might be for me to do the work on larger panels that can then be installed on your wall. studioeasyhearts@yahoo.com

Ocotillo 2
This is the side of my garage, visible from the main street in Salton City. It is the view of the Santa Rosa Mountains if my house (and the others behind it) weren't there. The ocotillo really is in my front yard.

Santa Rosa Dawn
Another view of the Santa Rosa mountains, this time at dawn. This view faces almost due west. This is the bedroom wall at opposite end of the house from the garage.

Santa Rosa Moonset
This mural was to fit with the existing installed art - the bird with reeds and full moon. The clients wanted a backdrop of the view from their bedroom - again the Santa Rosas, but this time from a much different angle. The moon would not set full over the mountains to the west, unless perhaps at dawn. The other challenge posed by the bird is that the foreground is firmly attached to the moon, which is background.

Ocotillo 7
When this client bought his new Harley, they decided that the blank garage wall was too plain to park such a bike in front of. They liked my desert dawns, so I combined a couple of existing images into a mural that makes the Harley feel suitably pampered.
Sonia's Garden
Home Design in Imperial has this mural as an example mural for clients to see. It is a combination of different elements from a variety of other pieces of catalog artwork. It is 5'x7' and starts about 4' from the ground. Three days up a ladder, I would have preferred to take 5 days on a mural this size and complexity.
Apples
When this couple bought their new home, his dream was to have some large apples on the wall in the kitchen. This mural is about 4 feet square, and I was able to make the dream a reality.
